Simulations Solutions UK - Simsol designs, manufactures and distributes medical simulators (medical simulation solutions - Prosim) and manufacturing - industrial simulation equipment to the international market.

Founded in 1997 and based in Stockport, Manchester, UK, our business began with the provision of manufacturing simulation solutions services to industry. This subsequently developed into providing JACK human simulation software and virtual reality hardware for the ergonomic analysis of design and manufacturing operations.

In 2001 we acquired the business of Prosim, which offers a range of prosthetic implant testing machines, including replacement knee joints, replacement hip joints, friction and spinal fatigue simulators.

Aims
Our essential aim is to deliver cost effective, technically innovative solutions to meet the bespoke manufacturing simulation solutions and medical simulation solutions (Prosim) requirements of our customers.

On the manufacturing simulation solution side, we support designers and manufacturers in the development of new products and improvement of existing ones. The means can range from standalone JACK systems to JACK fully integrated into a VR or Ergonomics Lab, and includes motion tracking, Head Mounted Displays and stereo projection.

On the medical simulation solution side (Prosim) , our Prosim products have been developed from close relationships with a number of UK Universities. Our design team have particular skills in interpreting research requirements within the implant environment, and providing testing equipment to support this work in accordance with relevant industry standards.
